What Is Supported by seabreak?
We support projects within three main areas:
-
Marine restoration: Stone reefs, biogenic reefs, eelgrass beds, coastal meadows, etc.
-
Marine research: Species, ecosystems, and the consequences of human activity, etc.
-
Communication about the sea: Exhibitions, educational materials, activities/events,
equipment, facilities for exhibitions/teaching aimed at a broad audience, as well as reports,
recommendations, articles, etc. targeted at decisionmakers.
A project involving marine restoration and/or research must generally include a communication component
to be eligible for funding. A project based solely on communication can only receive support in special
cases.

We primarily support local projects around Zealand and the islands, as well as projects with a national
focus.
